Summer Language Adventure at
LSC Montreal and LSC Toronto
This summer language course for teenagers offers an effective small-group language course combined with an adventure in Canadian culture and lifestyle. In July - August, LSC welcomes teenagers from ages 13 to 17 from diverse areas of the globe to participate to this programe. In Toronto they can learn English, and in Montreal either English or French!
Lessons are especially designed for young students. The course takes place every morning from Monday to Friday (15 lessons per week). Groups are of a maximum of 15 students, and lessons are offered in 5 different levels from beginners to advance. The programme provides language learning in an entertaining and meaningful context. Speaking and listening take priority.
Language Adventure activities are chosen to ensure that students are offered a balance of sports with a variety of interesting cultural outings. LSC monitors ensure that students are well-supervised during activities.
Students stay either in homestay or in residence. The residence package has the advantage of a 24 hours supervision and evening and weekend activities are included in the price. If the homestay package is booked, activites are not included, the student must be at least 14 and independent. Special care is taken in selecting homestay hosts who have an active interest in younger students and who create a welcoming home for the young participants. Travel from accommodation to school is not supervised.
